As an admirer of lovely things in the days “pre-children”, I guess it’s not surprising that this has stuck with me as I venture into motherhood – even if those lovely things are now often covered in sticky little fingerprints!

 

Dots n Spots was born out of late night and early morning searches for inspiration as I planned my baby’s first birthday.  With the world at my fingertips I found endless sites offering fabulous boutique party supplies, but few options locally.  And, as a relative newcomer to online shopping, I was a little nervous about ordering only to have these amazing goodies arrive AFTER the big day!

 

So here I am, having built my own online party products store to inspire others out there wanting to create the kind of party we all admire in the glossy magazines.  I get such a thrill from watching peoples faces light up when they see a gorgeous party table.  And I love the idea of parties forming lasting memories for both the “party person” and their guests.

 

I’ve always enjoyed planning and organising events, whether it be a business function in my past life, or a celebration for family and friends.  Now I’ve found my niche offering gorgeous products, styling ideas and handy DIY tips to others planning for a special occasion.

 

In my spare time I like to get creative in the kitchen baking and decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies that look perfectly irresistible.
